At Wildrose Kennels we are passionate about spending time with our dogs. This is why we offer a wide range of Adventure Dog workshops to help handlers work through the process of teaching your dog how to develop and refine Adventure dog skills. Our Adventure Dog program offers 13 different workshops including things such as bike riding, ATV, Kayaking/Canoeing, horseback riding, cross country skiing, motor vehicle, camping, public access, flying, and fishing.
This one day workshop will focus on 3 different activities. Attendees will be divided into two groups. One group will spend the morning canoeing on the Sheboygan River and stopping for a “mock” campout, while the other group will focus on bike riding, ATVs and Motor Vehicles. Groups will switch activities in the afternoon.
Wildrose encourages handlers and their dogs to complete as many of the activities as possible, either in workshops, or independently. Participants can earn three increasing levels of certification; Trail Rated, Adventure Dog and Master Trekker.
